Michael had many homes as a child, being born in Winnipeg, moving to Vancouver as a young baby, going to Ontario for university, and eventually returning to settle down in the Greater Vancouver Area.
From a young age, his interest in animals started thanks to Pokemon and, some time later, the Discovery Channel. Michael previously had studied wildlife biology and conservation at the University of Guelph, focusing on courses on zoology, biology, evolution, ecology, wildlife nutrition, and general nutrition. He later took a VOA program at Granville College to further his goal of working with animals.
In the years between university and college, Michael had happily volunteered at the RAPS Cat Sanctuary helping with keeping the hundreds of cats there happy and loved. He also hopes to one day further his training.
When not working, Michael is at home eating a dessert or two and napping, much like the cats he’s looked after.
